Phoning Little Brother [Locked to [livejournal.com profile] alecmcdowell]

Ben had sat there for most of the night. He'd told his little brother that he'd stay with him and Rachel and he still had plans to. But tonight he was playing guardian angel and he didn't want his little brother to worry. So while Aine slept, he calls Alec.

He frowns a bit. He hadn't forgotten or anything. "At the Space Needle. She fell asleep up here. Doesn't like to be alone."

There was a pause then. Big Brother hadn't come because of a girl. There was a slight hint of disappointment then because he had been looking forward to it. "It's cool big brother. I'll just have the table cleared."

"Didn't know it was going to happen. She didn't have anywhere to go." He states. "And wasn't going to just show up with her." Yeah, we think he feels bad now.

"Will be in the morning. After she leaves." After all... this is more than likely, for Alec, the reason why Ben said women were confusing. Because that statement had been about the woman sleeping in his room at the Space Needle.
